Wintertime is “candle time”! I love to light some candles when I am coming home in the evening after a busy day. With the switch from summer to wintertime, it is getting darker earlier. So get prepared for the upcoming months with a DIY candlestick made of cement. Follow my easy step by step approach to get the best results.

Money Cement: 2,00€ / 1,5kg = 0,33€ / 0,25kg

MoneyAcrylic Paint: 3,00€ / 120ml = 0,08€ (white)

After having bought all the “basics” for my apartment, I wanted to concentrate more on decoration. For this DIY project I got inspired by pinterest. I love the simplicity of the design of these candle sticks. They suit very well to my white and wooden interior. Follow my easy DIY 4 step approach to get the best results.

Required supplies – DIY Candle stick with masking tape

Money Piece of wood: 10 pieces for 11,92€ = 1,19€ per piece

Money Acrylic paint: 2,50€ per bottle = ~0,25€ per painting

Money Masking tape: 5 roles for 6,99€ = 1,40€ per role = ~0,10€ per candle stick

Total cost per candle stick = ~1,54€
