The DIY lampshades that I created had a really clear style, which I liked. At the same time they did not contrast with my furnishing. This is why I decided to colour them and bring more variety to my appartment. In this post I would like to share with you my easy DIY 4 step approach.

After spending a great deal of money for furnitures, there was nothing left for the really nice JSPR designer lamp that I desired. Money Plastic tubes: 2,99€ / (25cm x 150 = 3750 cm) =  0,51€ per lampshade / (6 x 15cm  + 18x 20 +6x 30 cm = 630 cm)

Money Hot Glue Gun sticks: 9,61€ / 20 pieces = 0,48€ per lampshade / 1 piece

Money Nylon thread: 2,42€ / 100m = 0,17 / ~7m

Total cost per lampshade = 1,16€ (excl. Hot Glue Gun, lamp holder)

Money Hot Glue Gun sticks: 9,61€ / 20 pieces = 0,48€ per lampshade / 1 piece

Money Nylon thread: 2,42€ / 100m = 0,12 / ~5m
